Apple will be launching a new events and invites service dubbed “Confetti,” according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

He says it will be part of iCloud and may arrive this week. Gurman says Confetti will offer a “new way to invite people to parties, functions and meetings” and differ from the Calendar app. He’s previously said that Apple has being looking for ways to revamp the Calendar app for years, and Confetti is the first of such plans.
