President Trump announced that Apple is planning a “massive investment” in the U.S.

Apple CEO Tim Cook, who was in attendance at President Trump’s inauguration today in Washington, D.C., has made an X post congratulating him and Vice President J.D. Vance.

“Congratulations to President @realDonaldTrump and Vice President @JDVance on Inauguration Day,” Cook said in an X post. “We look forward to working with the administration to drive continued innovation and jobs for future growth across our great nation.”

Earlier, Trump announced that Apple is planning a “massive investment” in the U.S. Benzinga reports that the discussion comes amid Trump’s broader initiative to accelerate major corporate investments in the U.S., recently promising expedited approvals for companies investing $1 billion or more. The policy would streamline environmental permits and other regulatory processes for qualifying investments.
