Pieoneer is a new pie menu for macOS that allows users to switch between running apps and launch favorite ones. It’s free and available for pre-order on the Mac App Store

“ I was in the mood for a relaxed side project after spending almost all of last year working on my app PolyCapture. Just before Christmas, Gavin Nelson posted a charming concept for a ‘radial app switcher’ on Bluesky, which reminded me of my own pie menu that I prototyped in 2013 (when I couldn’t program yet!) for my application to the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam,” says developer Martin Lexow. “I began development over the holidays, and since this morning, the app has been available on the Mac App Store.”

You can activate the pie menu anytime with a customizable keyboard shortcut.
