The Files app brings some much-needed improvements to the iPad with iPadOS 18.
Once you open the app, you can navigate through different locations like “On My iPad” or your connected cloud services (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox etc.) in the sidebar, then tap on a file or folder to access it. You can also search for specific files using the search bar, create new folders, move, copy, rename, or delete files by tapping and holding on them, and access file preview or editing options depending on the file type.
