How to use the Calculator in iPadOS 18

You can easily perform arithmetic calculations with the basic calculator in iPadOS 18. Here’s how:

° Open the “Calculator” app from your iPad’s home screen.

° Enter numbers and operations using the standard calculator buttons.

° To use the Scientific Calculator, tap the menu button and select “Scientific” to access advanced functions like trigonometric and logarithmic calculations.

° For handwritten math problems, tap the menu button and select “Math Notes” to write or type equations and get solutions instantly.

° Graphing: Within Math Notes, you can also graph equations by writing them out and selecting the “Insert Graph” option.

To clear the display, enter a digit or calculation, and do one of the following:

  1. Delete the last digit: If you make a mistake when you enter a number, tap the left-facing arrow icon.
  2. Delete the expression: Tap the All Clear (AC) key.
