NUIO has announced the launch of a suite of ergonomic peripherals.

The company is co-founded by brothers Tom Wilson, a former Product Design Executive for Apple, and Greg Wilson, a former digital marketing leader for Digitas. NUIO’s product ecosystem, centered around the Flow Keyboard, is available for pre-order today and begins shipping December 1starting at US$399.

“There are literally no right angles in the human body,” says Wilson. “Yet we spend most of our lives hunched over rigid, rectangular keyboards and peripherals—often enduring hours of wrist pain, tech fatigue and poor posture.”

Designed around the natural curves of the human body, and unrestrained by outdated forms, NUIO presents a radical departure from anything the industry has seen or felt before, he says. The new suite of flagship products—including a wireless split keyboard and trackpad system—aren’t mere ergonomic enhancements, but are a paradigm shift in how users interact with their digital environments, says Wilson

He adds that eery tool’s feature set is carefully chosen to meet the demands of today’s mobile and versatile work environments. Some key features include:

  • A re-engineered split design form factor for optimal hand positioning.
  • Integrated LED backlit keys.
  • A wireless trackpad offering high-resolution tracking and multi-touch gestures.
  • Flexible keyboard stands that tilt and tent, allowing you to infinitely adjust your work position and stay in flow.
  • Magnetic wristpads for maximum comfort and a premium feel.
  • Multiple sizes of desk pads that serve as a magnetic canvas to bring the entire NUIO Flow system together.

NUIO peripherals are now available for pre-order, starting at $399 from HelloNUIO.com, and will be shipping in December.
