‘Resident Evil 2’ to shamble onto the Mac App Store on December 31

Capcom's Resident Evil 2 remake has arrived on Apple devices.

Capcom’s “Resident Evil 2” zombie game will be available at the Mac App Store on December 31.

Here’s how the game is described: A deadly virus engulfs the residents of Raccoon City in September of 1998, plunging the city into chaos as flesh eating zombies roam the streets for survivors. An unparalleled adrenaline rush, gripping storyline, and unimaginable horrors await you.

Resident Evil 2 will be a free download, but does promote in-app purchases. It requires a Mac with an M1 or better Apple Silicon chip, running macOS 13 or later. It is also listed as being a 22.1GB download, but installing to 31GB.
