Apple TV+ productions nominated for nine Royal Television Society Awards

Apple TV+ productions received nine nominations in the 2022 Royal Television Society Awards by the Royal Television Society (RTS).

The RTS is a British-based educational charity for the discussion, and analysis of television in all its forms, past, present, and future. It is the oldest television society in the world. It currently has fourteen regional and national centers in the UK, as well as a branch in the Republic of Ireland.

“The RTS Craft & Design nominations rightly illuminate the exceptional talent, range of voices and skills we have in the UK content production industry, and with the introduction of the new Production Management category, which we received fantastic submissions for, we are further extending the reach and recognition these awards provide,” Ade Rawcliffe, chair of the Awards, said in an announcement.

“Prehistoric Planet” is nominated for “Design—Program Content Sequences,” “Effects,” and “Production Design-Entertainment & Non-Drama.”

“The Essex Serpent” is nominated for “Design-Titles” and “Production Management.”

“Bad Sisters” is nominated for “Music-Original Score,” “Music-Original Title.” “Slow Horses” is nominated for “Music-Original Title.”

“Trying” is nominated for “Sound-Entertainment and Non-Drama.”

Winners will be announced on Dec. 5 at an awards ceremony in London.
