250,000 ANZ customers are now using Apple Pay

Four months after offering Apple Pay, ANZ (the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited) says 250,000 of its customers are now using Apple’s mobile payment service, reports the Australian Financial Review.

ANZ is the fourth largest bank by market capitalization in Australia, after the Commonwealth Bank, Westpac Banking Corp., and National Australia Bank. The bank also says its MasterCard customers will be able to add their credit cards to Apple Pay. So far, during the three months of Apple Pay availability, 20% of the eligible user base has loaded its cards to the Wallet app.
