Does a global eSIM cover every destination a provider sells?
Not always. The global plans in this comparison list 66 to 168 countries, while the same providers sell eSIMs for 176 to 200+ destinations in total, so the rest are covered by local or regional plans. Checking the global plan’s country list against the route takes a minute: Amigo eSIM’s World plan includes the UK, the US and Turkey, for example, and Jetpac’s Global plan includes Japan, South Korea, China, India and Thailand.
Can I keep one eSIM for several trips?
Yes with several providers. Roamless is built around one eSIM reused everywhere, Jetpac reuses the same eSIM when a new data pack is added, Saily’s eSIM can be reused on later trips, and Airalo’s Discover eSIMs are rechargeable and do not expire. Nomad sells add-ons for an active plan, and Amigo eSIM sells extra data in its app.
Prices and plan details come from each provider’s own website, read on 16 October 2026 and shown in US dollars. eSIM prices and packages change often, so check the provider’s page before buying.
