Five more join the cast for season six of Apple TV’s ‘Slow Horses’

Varada Sethu (“The Other Bennet Sister,” “Andor”), Ethan Moorhouse (“The Moment,” “Ludwig”), Tuppence Middleton (“Downton Abbey: A New Era,” “Mank”), Merab Ninidze (“Homeland,” “The Courier”) and Joshua McGuire (“The Gold,” “Anatomy of a Scandal”) have joined the season seven cast of Apple TV‘s Emmy-winning spy drama “Slow Horses,” reports Deadline.

They join Gary Oldman and James Callis, who returns as Claude Whelan, in the upcoming season. Apple has already announced a season eight renewal for the series.

Here’s how the series is described: “Slow Horses” is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known un-affectionately as Slough House. Oldman stars as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but cantankerous leader of the spies, who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes and who frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world.
