Don’t look for iMacs or MacBook Airs with OLED displays anytime soon.

OLED displays are still planned for the iMac and MacBook Air, but don’t expect either to arrive anytime soon, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says in his latest “Power On” newsletter.

He adds that testing is underway for both, but that no release date is in sight. An updated iMac with a M6 processor but no OLED should be announced this week, and a new, but non-OLED MacBook Air, will debut early next year.

As for when OLED versions of the all-in-one and laptop might arrive, predictions range from 2027 to 2029, Gurman notes.
