How to pause Activity Rings on an Apple Watch with watchOS 26

You can pause your Activity Rings on your Apple Watch for up to 90 days without losing your streak by using the Activity app.

You can pause your Activity Rings on your Apple Watch for up to 90 days without losing your streak by using the Activity app.  Here’s how in watchOS 26:

  • Press the Digital Crown to open your apps.
  • Open the Activity app.
  • Tap your Activity Rings or the Weekly Summary icon in the top-left corner.
  • Scroll down to the bottom and tap Pause Rings.
  • Choose a time frame (like today or a custom number of days).
  • Tap Set to confirm. 

How to Resume Rings

  • Open the Activity app on your watch.
  • Tap your Activity Rings.
  • Tap Resume Rings.
