Walmart is finally accepting Apple Pay at select stores and Sam’s Club locations

Walmart is finally accepting Apple Pay at select stores and Sam’s Club locations.

Well, it finally happened. Walmart has announced that it’s finally accepting Apple Pay.

The retail giant will be adding Tap to Pay to its payment options at select Walmart stores and Sam’s Club locations, with plans to roll it out to all U.S. stores and clubs by the end of 2026 and to fuel stations by mid-2027.

Tap to Pay on iPhone is a feature that lets businesses accept contactless payments directly on an iPhone. It turns the phone into a payment terminal. Merchants don’t need extra hardware or a card reader.
