The iPhone Pro, Pro Max, and ‘iPhone Fold/Ultra’ may be pricier than originally predicted

The first price hikes Apple announced were for the Mac, iPad, Vision, Pro, and HomePod mini. However, the leakers known as “Fixed Digital Focus” and “Digital Chat Station — as noted by MacRumors — says the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro line-up and the foldable iPhone will see higher price tags than originally predicted.

The price hikes could be around 11% more than their iPhone 17 counterparts. Predictions for the foldable iPhone have been pegged at between $2,000 and $2,500. An 11% increase would push those prices to between $2,200 and $2,275.

The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to debut in September. The “iPhone Fold/Ultra” should arrive shortly afterwards.

The “standard” (non-Pro) iPhone 18 is anticipated in early 2027. It should be accompanied by an iPhone 18e and iPhone Air 2.
