Apple has released macOS Tahoe 26.5.2, iOS 26.5.2, and iPadOS 26.5.2. They include security fixes for, respectively, the Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
You can download macOS 26.5.2 on eligible Macs by going to System Settings app and then to the Software Updates section.
You can download iOS 26.5.2, and iPadOS 26.5.2 on eligible iPhones and iPads by go to Settings > General > Software Update.
Apple told Reuters that it released the updates earlier than planned due to concerns about AI-assisted hacks. From the article: “The company told Reuters on Monday it was adapting to the reality that, given the ability of artificial intelligence to speed the development of malicious hacking tools, it needed to reduce the time between when updates were first made public and when they were put into customers’ hands.”
