Apple has released macOS Tahoe 26.5.1 and iOS 26.5.1.

Apple has released macOS Tahoe 26.5.1 and iOS 26.5.1.

The former can be downloaded by going to System Settings, then the Software Updates section.

According to Apple’s release notes, “This update addresses an issue for enterprise users where Macs with an M5 chip could expectedly shut down when using certain content filtering network extensions.”

iOS 26.5.1 is for all models in the iPhone 17 line-up and the iPhone Air. You can download it by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

According to Apple’s release notes, “his update addresses an issue for a small number of users that may prevent wired charging on iPhone Air and iPhone 17 models when the battery is nearly drained.”
