Another report claims Apple is planning to split its iPhone launch this year.
According to Techlusive, supply chain insights indicate that while the premium iPhone Pro models remain on track for September, the standard iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e “face significant delays,” potentially pushing their release into early 2027.
That rumor isn’t new. The general consensus seems to be that Apple will release an iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September or October. The “standard” iPhone and iPhone 18e are anticipated to arrive in early 2027.
As for the first foldable iPhone — the so-called “iPhone Fold” or “iPhone Ultra” — it may or may not arrive this year. Purportedly, Apple plans on releasing it this year. However, design issues regarding its hinge could push the roll-out to 2027.
