How to rebuilt Mail libraries in macOS Tahoe

After updating to macOS Tahoe 26.3, part of my wife’s emails were missing. I had to rebuilt one of her mailboxes. If you need to do the same, here’s how:

° Launch the Mail app.

° In the Mail sidebar, select a mailbox.

° Choose Mailbox > Rebuild.

Note that when you rebuild mailboxes for IMAP or Exchange accounts, messages and attachments stored on your Mac are discarded and then downloaded again from the mail server to your Mac. Your mailbox appears empty until the download is complete.
