Apple purportedly still has a lot more Macs coming this year -- and the iMac may finally be updated with new colors.

Last week Apple rolled out out new MacBook Pros and debuted the MacBook Neo. But the company still has lots more Macs planned for release this year, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says in his latest “Power On” newsletter.

In addition to a M5 touch screen “MacBook Ultra” (see separate article), he says an upgraded Mac Studio should arrive mid-year, followed by new iMac and Mac mini models. While the new ‌Mac Studio‌ and ‌Mac mini‌ “will look identical to the current iterations,” the 2026 ‌iMac‌ will feature a “refreshed color palette,” Gurman says.

The M1 ‌iMac‌ was available in seven colors: Blue, Green, Pink, Yellow, Orange, Purple, and Silver. These were unchanged with the M3 version of the device in 2023. And updated iMacs will also certainly be equipped with M5 processors.

In addition to 24-inch iMacs in new hues, Gurman thinks a bigger iMac is still possible, but not a certainly. He says “Apple continues experimenting with iMacs featuring beefier processors and larger displays.”
