ZUGU makes iPad cases for all current iPad models. I’ve been testing the ZUGU 360 Case on my 13-inch M5 iPad Pro, and it’s one of the best cases for the tablet I’ve ever used.
I highly recommend it unless you need a case with a built-in keyboard. All the cases include ZUGU’s magnetic stand with multiple viewing angles and mounting capability, a tough TPU + PC shell, airflow vents for heat management, plus touches like a microfiber lining and wireless Apple Pencil charging.
There’s a lot to love about the 360 Case. You can use it for both vertical and horizontal viewing — and the case keeps your iPad stable at all angles. And the case gives you about eight different viewing angles.
The Apple Pencil holder keeps the Pencil charging without you having to worry about it getting bumped off.
You can remove the cover for extra secure mounting on any magnetic surface. And the shell is completely detachable. When the case is closed and not in use, the screen is completely covered by the top cover of your ZUGU case.
The 360 Case’s design is excellent. It’s made of fiberglass so offers a lot of durability without adding much extra weight (just over 500 grams) to your iPad. An iPad Pro with the case is only a half-inch thick. The wrap around bumper shell adds extra protection. The magnetic cover almost never opens accidentally. Cleverly designed air flow vents prevent overheating during extended use.
The 360 Case is very sophisticated. It uses vegan leather, aluminum buttons, and microfiber lining for a high-end feel that matches the iPad’s aesthetic.
However, what makes the 360 case unique is its ability to secure both your iPad AND iPhone for side-by-side viewing capabilities.
Two caveats: the 360 Case is available in black only. And it’s not an impulse buy; it will cost you $179.99 for the 11-inch model and $199.99 for the 13-incher. That said, the 360 Case provides a balance of protection and functionality.
