Workout Buddy in watchOS 26 provides AI-powered, voice-based motivation and, metrics, and, summaries during, workouts. Let’s look at how to use it.

° Open the Workout app on your Apple Watch, scroll to your desired workout, tap the … (menu) button, then tap the Alerts button (icon with a bell).

° Scroll down and turn on the Workout Buddy toggle.

° Select from available voice options (e.g., Voice 1, Voice 2, Voice 3) within the settings.

° Begin your workout, ensuring your Bluetooth headphones are connected.

° The AI provides a “pep talk” at the start, audio alerts for metrics (pace, distance, heart rate) during, and a summary afterward.

Workout Buddy’s features are available for various activities like running, cycling, hiking, and HIIT.
