In celebration of Apple’s 50th anniversary, Spigen has released a new special edition Classic LS phone case for the iPhone 17 Pro series. In terms of features, it really offers nothing new, but it will appeal to long time Mac users like me.
The case is inspired by the Macintosh 128, which debuted in 1984. If that item means little or nothing to you, ignore the Classic LS phone case. For others, it’s a nostalgic treat.
This case sports a floppy disk slot accent and a case shape inspired by the iconic computer. The reimagined Spigen logo and vintage keyboard keycaps complete the throwback look. Other features include:
- Side buttons styled after vintage keyboard keys, with “Hello” engraved on the power button;
- A touch-sensitive and capacitive T cover for seamless capture button functionality;
- A fully covered camera bump with precise cutouts;
- Compatibility with MagSafe accessories.
The Classic LS phone case is made of polycarbonate and thermoplastic polyurethane. And you should note that a note at the product web site says that “this product can expose you to chemicals including – which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.” For more information go to http://www.P65Warnings.ca.gov
