Apple’s second generation iPhone Air could launch in fall 2026, according to the Weibo leaker known as “Fixed Focus Digital.” Previous rumors claimed it wouldn’t arrive until spring 2027.
Except for China, where it’s a hit, the thinnest iPhone ever is widely believed to be a sales disappointment. Apparently, Apple plans to spur sales in a second gen model by adding a second camera.
Pricing for the iPhone Air starts at US$999, and that appears to have put off customers, leading to reports of poor sales and manufacturing cuts.
