How to set up an email auto reply in Mail on iCloud.com

You can set up an automatic reply to respond to incoming emails with the Mail app and iCloud.com. 

You can use this feature even if you forward your iCloud Mail to another email account. Here’s how: 

1. Go to iCloud Mail: Open a web browser and navigate to icloud.com/mail.
2. Sign In: Enter your Apple ID and password if you aren’t already logged in.
3. Open Settings: Click the gear icon (Settings) at the top left of the Mailboxes list.
4. Select Auto-Reply: In the Settings window that appears, choose “Auto-Reply” from the sidebar.
5. Enable Auto-Reply: Check the box next to “Automatically reply to messages when they are received”.
6. Write Your Message: Type the message you want to send as your automatic response in the provided text field.
7. Set Date Range (Optional): Choose a start and end date for your auto-reply to be active. If you don’t set dates, you’ll need to manually turn it off later.
8. Save Changes: Click “Done” or close the settings panel (often by clicking the ‘X’ in the corner) to activate your auto-reply. 

Important Note: Anyone sending you multiple emails within 24 hours will only receive one auto-reply during that period.
