The Apple Watch lineup in 2026 won’t include a major redesign, according to Weibo-leaker Instant Digital. In fact, he/she says not to expect any major design tweaks until 2028.
This goes against some previous predictions. A DigiTimes articles in Augusts claimed that a 2026 “high-end” Apple Watch model will feature “exterior design” changes, with “eight sensors arranged in a ring pattern visible through a glass cover on the watch’s underside.”
Then there have rumors that Apple is considering a round Apple Watch design. And the tech giant has filed patents for round designs, suggesting it has considered the idea. While recent rumors focus on features like a larger display and AI integration for upcoming models, a round design remains a speculative, though not impossible, future possibility.
