Mini-tip: How to move files from your iCloud storage to the Mac desktop

Starting with macOS Sierra, Apple provided a convenient Picture in Picture (PiP) feature that allows you to “float” a video window from Safari, YouTube, Apple TV+, and other apps.

You can move files from iCloud to your Mac desktop if you wish. Here’s how to do it in macOS Tahoe:

° Open a Finder window.

° Go to iCloud Drive in the sidebar, and then drag and drop the files or folders directly onto your desktop or a local folder.
