You will see the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and Apple’s first foldable iPhone arrive together in fall 2026, Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman says in his latest “Power On” newsletter.
From the report: Apple Inc.’s iPhone is undergoing the biggest transformation in its history, with the company set to debut three all-new models over three consecutive years.
Despite criticisms that Apple has grown overly dependent on the iPhone — while falling behind in artificial intelligence and other emerging areas — the company is doubling down on its flagship product. This means stepping up the pace of innovations.
Gurman said Apple’s goal is to spread revenue across the year, reduce internal stress, and avoid piling every major product into one season. He also confirmed that the iPhone Air 2 was never planned for 2026, but hasn’t been discontinued as some reports have claimed.
“From what I’ve heard, the second-generation iPhone Air hadn’t actually been earmarked for next year,” he said. “This means reports of a delay tied to sales are inaccurate.”
