ESR’s CryoBoost 3-in-1 Charging Station is a great desktop/bedside stand charger

ESR’s US$119.99 CryoBoost 3-in-1 Charging Station (25W) is a sleek, 3-in-1 charging station that keeps your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods fully juiced up.

It’s the best overall accessory for charging multiple devices I’ve ever tested. However, you should note that it’s meant for desktop or bedside table use. It’s not easily portable as it doesn’t have a foldable design. ESR doesn’t offer a foldable charger; more on that tomorrow. 

The CryoBoost 3-in-1 delivers near-wired-speed wireless charging and features a Sleep Mode that silences the fan and dims the light when you’re turning in for the night. It sports a 50W adapter and convenient dual viewing angles.

The CryoBoost 3-in-1 supports magnetic charging with a magnetic case less than 2 mm thick. The folks at ESR say its active cooling system “cuts heat by an average of 6.5°F to boost speed, while staying quiet and protecting your phone.”

I haven’t actually tested this, but, admittedly, I’ve never noticed any heating issue with any 3-in-1 charger I’ve used.

Another nice feature is that the Apple Watch charger is detachable. You can remove it and take it with you when you travel to plug into a Mac laptop or charging plug with USB-C.

The CryoBoost 3-in-1 works with the iPhone 12 series and later (except the iPhone SE, mini series, and iPhone 16e), AirPods (Pro 2, Pro 3, and AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation), and all Apple Watch models. It also works with, as best I can tell, all MagSafe compatible iPhone cases.
