‘iPhone Fold’ will reportedly look like two iPhone Airs side by side

"iPhone Fold" concept

The upcoming foldable iPhone will look very similar to two iPhone Airs side by side, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says in his latest “Power On” newsletter.

“As for how the foldable iPhone will look, I am increasingly told that users should imagine two titanium iPhone Airs side-by-side,” he says. “In other words, it’s going to be super thin and a design achievement.”

Gurman adds that the “iPhone Fold” will likely have a titanium chassis. He says the foldable smartphone will likely be manufacturing in China, not India, as some reports have indicated.

The “iPhone Fold” may arrive alongside the iPhone 18 line-up in late 2026. However, according to ETNews, Apple won’t release the iPhone 18 lineup until 2027, instead concentrating solely on the iPhone Fold in 2026. However, the Sellers Research Group (that’s me) finds this highly unlikely.
