How to Use Acrobat AI Assistant to Navigate Your New iPhone

The new iPhone 17 line-up will almost certainly be announced today. But each time we get a new phone, we might not be aware of all the features and warranties it might include.

With that, Adobe Acrobat’s AI tool can help you scroll through long manuals and find any tips and tricks to explore your new device: Here’s how:

  1. Open Acrobat AI Assistant: On your new iPhone, open Safari (or another browser) and go to:
  2. Create a PDF Space with Your iPhone Guide: Download the official iPhone User Guide for iOS [your version] from Apple’s site. Then, upload it into Acrobat AI Assistant to create a PDF Space. A PDF Space acts as a “knowledge hub” — you can collect multiple Apple resources (like iCloud guides, iOS feature PDFs, etc.) if you want.
  3. Ask iPhone Questions in Natural Language: Type in questions to pull precise answers directly from the manual, so you can tap to verify inside the guide itself. For example:
  • “How do I transfer contacts from my old iPhone using Quick Start?”
  • “What are the steps to set up Face ID?”
  • “How can I use widgets on the Home Screen?”
  1. Use Prompts to Speed Up Learning: Acrobat AI Assistant supports copy‑ready sample prompts. For your iPhone journey, try:
  • Executive summary: “Summarize new iOS features for beginners.”
  • Action items: “List the key steps to set up my iPhone from scratch.”
  • Research quoted: “What are the main differences Apple highlights between iCloud Backup and iCloud Drive?”
  1. Save or Share Your Knowledge: Add notes for easy reference as you learn, so you can share your iPhone PDF Space and custom Assistant with a family member. It’s perfect if more than one person is setting up a new iPhone!
