How to choose your icon and widget style in macOS Tahoe

Some folks don’t like the Liquid Glass look of Apple’s operating system updates, but I’m a fan.

Among other reasons, it offers new ways to personalize your Mac’s appearance. For instance, you can go to System Settings, click Appearance, then choose an icon and widget style.

You can choose from these theme and folder colors: multicolor, blue, purple, pink, red, orange, yellow, green, and graphite. You can also choose an icon & widget style, including default, dark, clear, and tinted.

You can also make your folders stand out so they’re easier to find.

Control-click a folder, click Customize Folder, then choose a color, symbol, or emoji.
