Apple may release a clear case for the upcoming iPhone 17 line-up

Also the tech giant may eliminate the physical SIM tray in more countries this year

Apple may release a clear case for the upcoming iPhone 17 line-up.

Apple may release a clear case for the upcoming iPhone 17 line-up, according to the leaker known as Majin, who has shared alleged images of the case.

“The ‘Clear Case; lineup offers a crystalline option designed to enhance the finish of the iPhone 17 Pro while providing robust protection,” he (or she) writes. “A novelty this year compared to previous years is that the Clear Cases are not fully transparent: they cover the glass and MagSafe parts of the phone, as visible in the photo. Additionally, Apple has implemented a smart solution to seamlessly integrate the new positioning of the Apple logo, now moved lower, blending it elegantly into the overall design.”

Regarding the iPhone 17 line-up, a source “familiar with the matter” has informed MacRumors that retail employees at Apple Authorized Resellers in the European Union are required to complete a training course related to iPhones with eSIM support by Friday, September 5. Why? Apple is purportedly preparing to eliminate the physical SIM card tray from iPhones in more countries this year.

Apple will likely unveil its iPhone 17 line-up at a special event on Tuesday, September 9, according to German mobile phone providers — as noted by iphone-ticker.de. Here’s a round-up of the rumors about the upcoming smartphones.
