The iPhone 17 Air will reportedly pack an A19 Pro chip with a 5-core GPU

The rumored iPhone 17 Air will pack an A19 Pro chip with a 5-core GPU, according to Weibo leaker Fixed Focus Digital

And he/she claims that only the iPhone 17 Pro models will have the full 6-core GPU A19 Pro configuration. Look for the new iPhones to arrive in September or October. Here are some other rumors about the iPhone 17 Air:

° It may be the thinnest iPhone ever: 6.25mm thick.

° Its internal battery pack is just 2.49mm thick and appears to be about half as thin as the iPhone 17 Pro battery.

° The iPhone 17 Air won’t have a physical SIM, which could impact sales in China.

° It will be available in a total of nine color options.

° It will be equipped with 12GB of RAM.

° It be the only iPhone model that uses Apple’s own “C1” modem. The other models will incorporate Qualcomm modems.

° It will have a resolution of 2,736 x 1,260.
