Apple’s iPhone 17e will gain upgrades including the Dynamic Island and a new design, according to Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station (as noted by MacRumors). He/she claims that:

° The smartphone will feature a new industrial design, the ‌Dynamic Island‌, and the A19 chip.

° The ‌iPhone‌ 17e will retain a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, a front-facing 12-megapixel camera, Face ID, and a rear 48-megapixel camera.

Other rumors claim that the smartphone will be unveiled in spring of 2026. According to the Korean site, The Elec, it will use the 6.1-inch OLED that is currently in the iPhone 16e. The US$599 iPhone 16e was released in late February.

The Elec report lines up with a prediction from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that said we’d see an iPhone 17e in the first half of 2026.
