When someone emails documents to you, you can sign them on your iPad via the Markup preview in the built-in Mail app. Here’s how:
- Open the document: Open the document you want to sign in an app like Mail, Notes, or Photos.
- Access Markup: Tap the Markup icon (it looks like a pen tip).
- Add Signature: Tap the Add button (plus sign) and select Signature.
- Create or Select Signature: If you don’t have a saved signature, create one using your finger or Apple Pencil. If you have a saved signature, select it.
- Place Signature: Tap and drag the signature to the desired location on the document.
- Resize and Adjust: You can resize and adjust the signature by dragging the handles.
- Save/Send: Save or send the signed document.
