You can scan documents with your iPhone. To scan documents in iOS 16, you can use the built-in Notes app or the Files app.
In Notes, open a new or existing note, tap the camera icon (or the paperclip icon, depending on your iOS version), and select “Scan Documents.” In Files, tap the “…” (More) button, then “Scan Documents.”
Position your iPhone so the document is within the camera’s view, and it will automatically scan. You can then save the scan as a PDF in the note or file.
