Starting with iOS 14, there were new ways to find and organize the apps on your iPhone. One is the App Library that displays on your Home screen. You can see it by swiping left until you see the App Library.
Apps are automatically sorted into categories. For example, you might see your social media apps under a Social category. The apps that you use most frequently will automatically reorder based on your usage.To find and use the Apple Library in iOS 16:
- Go to the App Library: From your last Home Screen page, swipe left until you see the App Library.
- Organize Your Apps: The App Library automatically sorts your apps into categories, such as Social or Entertainment. Frequently used apps appear at the top of their respective categories.
- Find a Specific App:
- Search: Tap the search field at the top of the screen and type the app’s name.
- Browse: Scroll up and down the alphabetical list of apps, or tap a letter on the right to jump to that section of the list.
- Search: Tap the search field at the top of the screen and type the app’s name.
- Open an App: Tap the app’s icon to launch it.
