AirPods Pro 3 rumored to feature a smaller charging case and capacitive pairing button

Apple has released new firmware for the AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Pro 3.

The AirPods Pro 3 will feature a slightly smaller charging case and a capacitive pairing button, according to the leaker Majin Bu.

He has this to say in his post: One of the key updates [for the AirPods Pro 3] concerns the charging case, which, according to a well-known accessory manufacturer, was initially reported to have a slight reduction in size compared to the current model. However, after consulting with case producers, I obtained photos and dimensions of the cases, which surprisingly appear almost identical to those of previous models. Despite the initial claim, it seems there will be no significant changes in the dimensions of the AirPods Pro 3 charging case, maintaining a familiar form factor that ensures compatibility with existing accessories and user expectations for portability.

There’s a good chance we’ll see the AirPods Pro 3 at the Apple special event dubbed “Awe Dropping” on Tuesday, September 9 when new iPhones and new Apple Watches will be released.
