The iOS QuickType keyboard includes QuickPath, so you can swipe your finger from one letter to the next to enter a word without removing your finger from the keyboard. To use it in iOS 17:
- Open the keyboard: Tap into any text field in an app to bring up the keyboard.
- Start swiping: Instead of tapping individual keys, place your finger on the first letter of a word and slide it to the next letter, and so on, without lifting your finger.
- End the word: Lift your finger from the screen when you’ve finished spelling the word.
- Continue typing: The keyboard will automatically add a space, and you can begin swiping out the next word.
