How to use an Apple Vision Pro with an iPad

You can use your iPad with your Apple Vision Pro by either mirroring your iPad’s display to the spatial computer or using AirPlay Receiver to view content from your iPad within the Vision Pro’s virtual space.

For mirroring, you need both devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network and your iPad to have AirPlay Receiver enabled. For AirPlay Receiver, you need to enable it on both devices and then connect to the Vision Pro’s Wi-Fi network.

To mirror an iPad to a Vision Pro:

  1. Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. On your iPad: Go to Settings > General > AirPlay & Handoff and enable AirPlay Receiver.
  3. On your Vision Pro: Go to Settings > AirPlay Receiver and select your iPad from the list of available devices.

To use AirPlay Receiver on  a Vision Pro:

  1. Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. On your iPad: Go to Settings > General > AirPlay & Handoff and enable AirPlay Receiver.
  3. On your Vision Pro: Go to Settings > Display and choose your iPad from the list of available devices.
