Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15.5, iOS 18.5, iPadOS 18.5, tvOS 18.5, and visionOS 2.5.
macOS Sequoia 15.5 can be downloaded via the Software Update section of System Settings. The update includes enhancements, bug fixes, and security updates for your Mac.
Also, parents now receive a notification when the Screen Time passcode is used on a child’s device.
iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4, which can be downloaded on by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Here are what’s included, per Apple’s release notes:
- A new Pride Harmony wallpaper
- Parents now receive a notification when the Screen Time passcode is used on a child’s device
- Buy with iPhone is available when purchasing content within the Apple TV app on a 3rd party device
- Fixes an issue where the Apple Vision Pro app may display a black screen
tvOS 18.5 can be downloaded using the Settings app on the Apple TV. Open up Settings and go to System > Software Update to get the new software.visionOS 2.4.1. Apple hasn’t offered any release notes, so the update probably includes performance tweaks and bug fixes.
watchOS 11.5 offers a Pride Harmony watch interface. Also, Buy with Apple Watch is now available when purchasing content within the Apple TV app on a third party device. watchOS 11.5 also resolves an issue that may prevent your iPhone from showing a notification when the watch battery is fully charged.
watchOS 11.5can be downloaded through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by going to General > Software Update. To install the new software, the Apple Watch needs to have at least 50% battery, needs to be placed on a charger, and it needs to be in range of the iPhone.
visionOS 2.5 now shows a new Immersive Video and 3D movie tab in the Apple TV app. To install visionOS 2.5 on your Vision Pro:
° From the Home Screen, open Settings > General > Software Update.
° Select Update Now.
° Wait for Vision Pro to finish installing the OS update. You can remove the headset while it’s updating.
