Software announcements for the week of April 21-25

Developer Simon Stoving has released Smash Smash, a whimsical app that turns your Mac into a “digital destruction zone.”

Here are some of the latest software announcements of the week:

° Developer Simon Stoving has released Smash Smash, a whimsical app that turns your Mac into a “digital destruction zone.” It’s donation-ware and requires macOS 13.6 or later. 

° MacPlus Software has updated DockView, a utility that adds a preview of the windows of the selected application in the macOS Dock, to version 1.7. It has several bug fixes. 

° Digital Brokerage Services says Plynk, the award-winning app that “empowers people to invest with confidence,” is now available on Apple Vision Pro. The spatial app allows users to interact with real-time 3D market data visualizations and place trades. Users can download the Plynk app in the Apple App Store for Apple Vision Pro.

° Cisdem has released new Mac and Windows versions of Cisdem PDF Converter OCR. The update adds multi-language support and optimized the conversion effects.

°  Keeper Security, a cybersecurity provider of zero-trust and zero-knowledge Privileged Access Management (PAM) software protecting passwords, passkeys, privileged accounts, secrets and remote connections, has launched Browser Extension 17.1 at the Chrome Web Store, Apple App Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons or Firefox Add-ons store. The update to the cybersecurity software brings enhanced autofill customization to its browser extension, along with expanded PAM capabilities and a new AI-powered tool to improve issue resolution.

° Morningmate, the all-in-one collaboration platform, is now available on the Google Workspace Marketplace, Microsoft AppSource, and Apple App and Google Play app stores. This expansion purportedly makes it easier for teams around the world to access Morningmate directly from their preferred tools, accelerating productivity.

° Shenzhen Creality 3D has released Creality Cloud 6.0, an  update to its mobile app and 3D model marketplace. The upgrade introduces a new incentive system and AI-powered features to empower creativity and discovery.

° Tonita, a new conversational AI shopping assistant, is now live and ready for shoppers. The site purportedly “offers a smarter, personalized and more exciting way to browse and buy clothing online, whether you’re updating your wardrobe or need a specific outfit for an upcoming event.”
