CIRP: iPhone 16e sales accounted for 7% of US iPhone unit sales in the March quarter

Consumer Intelligence Research Partner’s Apple US customer survey for the March 2025 quarter shows that, in its first partial quarter of availability, iPhone 16e sales accounted for 7% of US iPhone unit sales.

The iPhone 16e share of unit sales exceeded that of the iPhone SE in the same quarter last year, according to CIRP. Together, the five current iPhone 16 models combined for 74% share of total US iPhone sales.

That is more than the 68% share for the four then-current iPhone 15 models in the March 2024 quarter. The introduction of the iPhone 16e accounts for the entire difference, but there were notable shifts among the other models’ shares as well.
