Worldwide semiconductor revenue totaled US$655.9 billion in 2024, up 21% from $542.1 billion in 2023, according to final results by Gartner, Inc.
NVIDIA climbed to the No. 1 position, overtaking Samsung Electronics and Intel for the first time. Apple is number nine on the list based on its A.x and M.x series of processors. That’s down from eighth place in 2023.
According to Gartner, Apple has 3.1% of the global semiconductor revenue share. Though it dropped one place, its market share is actually up 13.6% from 2023 to 2024.
