How to use Visual Intelligence in macOS Sequoia

Apple Visual Intelligence is a feature on newer iPhones, iPads, and Macs that uses the camera to identify and provide information about objects, text, and places around you.

It allows you to quickly access details like translations, summaries, or even contact information simply by pointing your phone at something; essentially acting as a real-time visual search tool powered by AI.

Visual Intelligence works best with an iPhone or iPad. However, you can use it with a Mac.

To use Visual Intelligence in macOS Sequoia, hold down the Camera Control button for a few seconds to activate the Visual Intelligence mode, then take a photo of what you’re looking at and select “Ask” or “Search” to interact with ChatGPT or Google Search, respectively.
