Apple has released macOS Sequoia 15.4, which can be downloaded via the Software Update section of System Settings. It’s available for all Macs that can run macOS 15.

The macOS 15.4 brings Mail Categorization to the Mac. The Mail app update sorts your messages to help you prioritize the most important messages. The mail app filters your emails into one of four categories: Primary, Transactions, Updates and Promotions.

macOS 15.4 brings Quick Start to the Mac. This feature lets you scan a code to transfer settings from one Mac to a new one.

Apple News+ subscribers now have access to a new ‌Apple News‌ Food section that features tens of thousands of recipes — as well as stories about restaurants, healthy eating, kitchen essentials, and more — from the world’s top food publishers, including Allrecipes, Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Good Food, and Serious Eats.

With the new Food feature, users will be able to find stories curated by Apple News editors, as well as browse, search, and filter tens of thousands of recipes in the Recipe Catalog — with new recipes added every day. Apple says the recipe format “makes it easy to review ingredients and directions, and a new cook mode takes step-by-step instructions to the full screen.” Users can also save their favorite recipes for later and access them offline.

Other changes in macOS 15.4:

° There’s a new Sketch style for Image Playground.

°  There’s Memory Movie support in the Photos app for custom slideshows, and new emoji characters.

° The Apple Podcasts app adds widgets for easy access to episodes from shows you follow, a customizable Library widget, and more.

° Seven new emoji are now available.
