Cisco and Apple have announced enhanced collaboration experiences for users by bringing Apple AirPlay to Cisco Devices in Microsoft Teams Rooms and launching Cisco Spatial Meetings for an immersive experience with Apple Vision Pro.
Apple AirPlay is now available on Cisco Devices for Microsoft Teams Rooms. This means users can wirelessly share content from their iPhones, iPads, or Macs directly to Cisco devices. Imagine an employee entering a meeting and displaying their site visit photos from their iPhone using AirPlay – all without cables or launching the Teams app.
Now generally available, Cisco Spatial Meetings allows users to turn any space equipped with a Cisco Room Bar Pro into an immersive studio with Webex for Apple Vision Pro. This integration enables a meeting experience where depth and realism bring people and content to life, making them feel like they’re in the same room, according to Jeetu Patel, executive vice president and chief product officer, Cisco.
