You can back up your Apple Vision Pro using iCloud. This allows you to restore content, settings, and apps from a backup to a new or newly erased Apple Vision Pro.
How to back up Apple Vision Pro
- Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > iCloud Backup.
- Turn on iCloud Backup.
- To perform a manual backup, tap Back Up Now.
To view your iCloud backups, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Backups. To delete a backup, choose a backup from the list, then tap Delete & Turn Off Backup.
Note: If you turn on iCloud syncing for an app or feature (in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Show All), its information is stored in iCloud. Because the information is automatically kept up to date on all your devices, it’s not included in your iCloud backup.
How to restore Apple Vision Pro from a backup
- Turn on a new or newly erased Apple Vision Pro.
- Do one of the following:
- Tap Set Up Manually, then follow the instructions.
- If you have an iPhone or iPad with iOS 17, iPadOS 17, or later, you can use Quick Start to automatically set up your new Apple Vision Pro. Bring the two devices close together, then follow the instructions. You can then restore the rest of your data and content to your new device from your iCloud backup.
