Grogo, an app that “reimagines parental device control with brain boosting screen time breaks” has launched in the Apple App store and Google Play store.
It’s designed for children in grades 2-12. Grogo is a subscription-based app with timed AI-generated interruptions. At intervals set by the parent, the app locks the child’s other apps until they correctly answer a series of grade-appropriate math, science, English, history or pop culture questions.
Grogo even adjusts the difficulty of the questions based on the child’s pattern of correct and incorrect answers. The app will allow users to sign up for a 14-day free trial and will be US$6.99 per child, or $9.99 per family per month, with two months free when parents choose an annual plan.
